What is eDecorating?

Kristin Drohan Interior Design's eDecorating is a virtual process that allows you to receive a professionally designed space from Kristin Drohan Interior Design even if you don’t live near our location.  This service works well for any person or business that feels comfortable executing and installing a decorating project and doesn’t require the full services of a traditional client.

What Do You Get with eDecorating?  

 

Here's a sample of what comes inside an eDecorating box:
space plan, color palette, "after" picture, fabric swatches, and more!

You will receive a professional linen box in the mail that includes a space plan to scale in the exact color palette of your room.  You are also given a rendering of the space that has the exact suggested fabrics on the furnishings and draperies, and accurate paint colors on the walls.  You are receiving an “after” make-over picture before you start the project allowing you to truly visualize the final result.  We provide swatch books with the recommended fabrics so you can feel the texture yourself.  You also receive a furnishings booklet with pictures and information of the suggested furnishings, rugs, drapery and accessories.  Most items are available for purchase through us at dealer pricing plus Kristin Drohan Interior Design commission (excludes kitchens and baths).  This is usually a significant discount compared to retail.  You don’t have to purchase items through us.  You can also use this booklet for the concept only and pursue like items on your own.  Finally, we provide paint suggestions, instructions on implementation and any answers to your questionnaire. 

How Does it Work?

1. To get started, complete the eDecorating Questionnaire and submit. The answers to your questions will be submitted to Kristin Drohan Interior Design. We will contact you via email and/or phone to discuss your project.
2. Next, print out this "Draw Your Space" Form (in MS Word format)  and draw measurements of your space.  For assistance, click here to see a sample drawing on graph paper.  Include in your measurements window locations and size, ceiling height, door openings and indicate any radiators, closets, alcoves, or wall projections.
3. Please include photos of the space that show the entire room. 
4. Lastly, provide us with a few pictures from either magazines or websites that reflect your style choice. 
5. You may either email this information or send it in the mail with your payment.  If we feel we need additional information we will contact you by phone to ensure you receive a product you’re pleased with.

How Much Does It Cost?

Hallway/ Powder Bath/ Entryway - $325
Bathroom/ Breakfast Area - $450
Dining Room/ Home Office - $650
Family Room/ Sun Room/ Master Bath/Living Room/ Bedroom - $550
Kitchen/Media/Entertainment Spaces - $650
(plus Shipping and Handling - $45)

Discount: If you purchase $3000 (must be purchased at one time) of furnishings and accessories through Kristin Drohan Interior Design, your E-décor Box will be discounted 50% (excludes kitchens and baths).  Purchases over $6000 (must be purchased at one time and excludes kitchens and baths) refunds the original cost of your E-décor box design!  Product totals are calculated before tax, freight, and delivery.  Please note that we only use top quality products with very reputable companies.  All sales are final on custom items. 

Payment

Payment in full is required with the questionnaire before any work will commence.  We accept Paypal and checks.  If sending a check, it must clear before the project is started. All designs are non-refundable.  If you need additional instruction or information, an additional research fee is available at $50 an hour.

It takes approx 2-3 weeks from time payment has cleared to receive a single room E-décor box.  If you require several rooms please contact us for an estimate delivery quote. 

* Products that are specified in the design may not be available at time of purchase due to vendor availability. Kristin Drohan Interior Design is not responsible for those items but will assist you in finding a suitable replacement.
